Carys founded The Polka to help organisations use digital to create meaningful connections with their audience.
With 20+ years experience in marketing, digital and communications she recognised the challenges and frustrations marketing folks feel when they simply don't have enough hours in the day!
Carys has worked for top UK brands marketing to both consumers and businesses.
Social Media Manager
Emma enjoyed a varied career in marketing, including event and field-based marketing with clients such as Black & Decker, Mars & P&G.
Fast forward to 2023 and Emma lives and breathes social media. As she says "now I get to put my passion into practice!"
When she's not scrolling Emma loves photography (selling her own greetings cards), going to the theatre, eating out & visiting gardens.
Content Creator + Copywriter
Michelle has enjoyed an eclectic career in a variety of industries, most notably travel and IT. She also worked in education for 10 years, both teaching and providing support to teens and adults.
She brings a keen eye and love of the written word to The Polka with her copywriting, editing and proofing skills.
Outside of work Michelle is learning to play the piano and loves spending time working out, visiting historic buildings and reading.
Tiffany loves to organise!
She has worked as a Legal PA in London for over 15 years which makes her a Microsoft, diary management and an all-round-organisation-expert! .
In her spare time Tiffany is a keen runner and love to be outdoors exploring with her two children.
Gemma has over 20 years of digital experience within retail, B2B and the third sector.
She is an expert in customer acquisition, retention and conversion rate optimisation.
She loves to empower organisations so they can drive their own success, simply and easily.
When she’s not clicking and optimising Gemma is a great supporter of environmental causes and loves the natural world.
Joanne is a creative and strategic thinker, with a taste for good communication.
With marketing skills honed over 10+ years, she loves to help organisations achieve their goals. Joanne has managed digital campaigns and communications within the not-for-profit sector that create impact and get results.
Following a 10+ year career in the Private Health Insurance sector, Helen decided to take her passion for improving the customer experience into the marketing space.
She has supported many organisations to reach more customers and generate leads and sales through Facebook and Instagram advertising.
She says: "I love people and building meaningful connections."
Helen is a mum of 3 and a HUGE Tom Hanks fan. She's been to Disney World 14 times and eats her own body weight in chocolate daily 😁 She lives in Hampshire.
